Jun. 7th, 2010 10:20 amDoing this just because I want to.
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 4-7 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest (unless it's too troublesome to reach and is really heavy. Then go back to step 1).
6. Tag five people.
He cleared his throat. "I am here, as I'm sure you know, because of Albus Dumbledore's will."
Harry, Ron, and Hermione looked at one another.
"A surprise, apparently! You were not aware then that Dumbledore had left you anything?"
"A-all of us?" said Ron. "Me and Hermione too?"
-Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling
I tag whoever feels like doing it that hasn't done it yet. :D

Michael Jackson has passed away.
No matter what you thought about his exploits in the tabloids, I don't think it can be denied he had a huge impact on the music industry. Wow, it feels like the end of an era.
ETA: Farrah Fawcett also. Dang. wtf eljay stop being so damn slow
