Comment and I will give you ten actors and ten actresses. Then post in your Livejournal with your favorite films of theirs.

[livejournal.com profile] shelightsupwell gave me:

I cheated and included TV shows as well, just because that's my favorite for some of them. )

Doing this just because I want to.

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 4-7 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest (unless it's too troublesome to reach and is really heavy. Then go back to step 1).
6. Tag five people.

He cleared his throat. "I am here, as I'm sure you know, because of Albus Dumbledore's will."

Harry, Ron, and Hermione looked at one another.

"A surprise, apparently! You were not aware then that Dumbledore had left you anything?"

"A-all of us?" said Ron. "Me and Hermione too?"

-Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

I tag whoever feels like doing it that hasn't done it yet. :D

RIP...

We remember.

I'm almost done reading Biggest Brother, and I wanted to share this passage that talks about the premiere of Band of Brothers at Camp Toccoa.

The actors and their veterans )

HOMG PRECOUSSSSSSSSSS.

ETA: This is mainly for [livejournal.com profile] bzzinglikeneon, but other BoB fans might appreciate it. My husband has several old lighters he got from...somewhere, I don't remember, maybe his grandpa. Well, I came across them after we moved a few months ago and found this one.
Oh, I have every confidence in my scrounging abilities. And I have a case of VAT 69 hidden in your footlocker. )

Disclaimer: This is a combination of my music and my husband's music - and he has A LOT of music.

Michael Jackson has passed away.

No matter what you thought about his exploits in the tabloids, I don't think it can be denied he had a huge impact on the music industry. Wow, it feels like the end of an era.

ETA: Farrah Fawcett also. Dang. wtf eljay stop being so damn slow
