Terry Crews and Finn Wolfhard have taken their careers in a new direction. To celebrate the launch of the new LEGO® Pokémon™ SMART Play™ sets, we challenged the duo to step into new roles as LEGO Pokémon Trainers for a head-to-head battle alongside their chosen LEGO Pokémon partners... and let's just say, nobody saw Terry's pick coming. But with the proper training and bonding, made possible by LEGO SMART Play technology, perhaps Terry's LEGO Jigglypuff stands a chance against Finn's LEGO Charizard after all.

𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬! 🎂 Today, August 10, marks the LEGO Group’s official Foundation Day, celebrating a journey that began with our founder Ole Kirk Kristiansen’s wooden toys in 1932 and continues today thanks to the creativity, passion and dedication of talented colleagues around the world. And who are we to argue with a good excuse for a celebration? 📸 Pictured: the first product line presented in 1932. A little glimpse at where it all started, 94 years ago. Happy LEGO® birthday! 💛

We’ve been making important changes across our sites. From how we heat our buildings to how we power our operations, we are working to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions as part of our ambition to reach our near- and long-term science-based targets. This includes taking a range of practical steps to improve energy efficiency and increase our use of renewable energy. Because every production site is different, there is no single solution. Instead, we tailor our approach to local conditions while working towards the same goal.

We know finding shelf space for builds can be a challenge. So this one requires only wall space. Although quite a lot of it. At 4,000 pieces, the LEGO® Art Gustav Klimt – The Kiss is our largest ever LEGO Art Masterpiece. Our Master Model Designer Milan Madge worked with Stephanie Auer, Curator of 19th and 20th Century Art at the Belvedere Museum in Vienna, to stay true to the spirit of the original work and recreate some of the artwork’s distinctive shades and textures. If you want to learn more about how they did it then please do hop over to YouTube or Spotify where you’ll find a podcast devoted to this set.

𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐄 #4: Welcome to the world’s quietest team exercise. This Friday, your mission is to sort a pile of random objects into groups. Sounds easy enough - except no one is allowed to speak. Today’s challenge is all about teamwork, quick thinking and discovering who in your group is secretly fluent in dramatic pointing. LEGO® bricks optional (but encouraged!). Play very much required. 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 Each year, many LEGO colleagues become Play Agents, picking up fun activities to bring Learning Through Play into our everyday work lives. But why should we have all the fun? Every Friday in July, we’re taking some of our favourite Play Agent activities to LinkedIn. No training required. Just a few minutes, willingness to play, and maybe a colleague, friend or family member to join you. #BehindTheBricks
