Disillusioned geeky goth-adjacent liberal. Used to be a politico, until I realised it was just another crab bucket.

I'm a scientific hyper-rationalist who still reckons there's more things than dreamed of in any philosophy. I practice Buddhist mindfulness and self-awareness while being a proud atheist. I'm fairly liberal, though I'm less likely to positively accept your autonomy and identity than just not care about it.

I've been on LiveJournal, then Dreamwidth, for a couple of decades, and I've changed a lot over that time - bear that in mind when reading through the archive. Most of what I had to say felt true at the time, but times change. I'm still here because I like to keep up with my friends, and I value their opinions on the stuff I like to talk about.

As my life becomes more public, so I find my journal becoming more private. I don't feel I've got anything in particular to hide, but I live my life on my own terms and I'll discuss it on my own terms too. Don't worry that you're missing out on any great secrets... I was probably more interesting back then.
