A day after the exodus into The Good Place, when everyone is at least sort of settled, a ballot box appears on the bench by the fountain, right next to the television. On it, you can see the living hanging around the spaceport - since there's only cameras in the areas that are meant to be populated, nothing really seems amiss right now.
That's just for the record, of course. Now, it's time to vote.]

Apr. 3rd, 2018 02:05 amairlockedmods[When Blaze seemingly slices straight through reality and helps them all yeet themselves away from the void devouring the mall they'll find themselves tumbling straight into...sunshine. Genuine-feeling, warm sunshine and plush green grass under their feet covered in fallen pink cherry blossom petals. In front of them there's a large stone fountain, like one you'd find in a public park. Anyone tumbling through the tear with Jamie will hear his breath catch in his throat and see him fall backwards onto the ground in shock.
There's about half a block in their sight aside from the small park slice and a few of them will find the bits and pieces of familiar sights. A building here, a childhood home there, another small park, all places they associate with comfort and safety. Any space outside the half block radius still looks to be the void but instead of moving in and devouring everything in sight it seems to be receding and very gradually creating new areas in the simulation.

Mar. 3rd, 2018 07:32 pmbrokencode[Angel had spent the last week in a frantic state of preparation, and only just had the time to step back and observe the fruits of her labor. In a matter of a few days, she’d turned a relatively unassuming restaurant into a romantic destination. Any bullet holes had either been covered up by the nicest looking curtains (or blankets) she could find, or weren’t visible in the candlelight. She’d even picked out a place with intact windows.
Inside, the smell of food -- some kind of pasta and baking bread -- would assail anyone who entered. None of it had been moved to the singular table in the room just yet though, she needed to keep it warm, after all.
The outside was a bit of a contrast, just by being its true Flavortown self. Finn and Takumi guarded the building, while Lightning was somewhere out in the town, ideally keeping Jack busy.
It seemed, then, that everything was ready. Angel had adorned herself with the nicest black dress she could find -- a relatively modest affair that reached her knees and elbows, but did show off her back with a low scoop. Her hair was combed back and over the still short patch of hair on the side of her skull.
Barring the occasional distant whooping and her excessive fidgeting, everything seemed almost normal.]
