Monitoring tells you what's happening. #SmartFusion takes action. ⚙️ During a #metalAM build, thermal conditions constantly change with geometry, orientation and heat accumulation. Smart Fusion uses live data from EOSTATE Exposure OT to react to these changes - dynamically adjusting laser power based on local thermal conditions. Layer by layer. In real time. The result? → More stable builds → Fewer support structures → More consistent part quality → Less post-processing Swipe through to see how closed-loop process control works. ➡️ #3DPrinting #AdditiveManufacturing #Innovation

What if cooling channels could follow the heat — not manufacturing constraints? 🔧 Siemens, GKN Additive and EOS put this idea into practice with an additively manufactured liquid cold plate for direct-to-chip cooling. The results vs. conventional vacuum-brazed designs: → 12% lower peak chip temperature → 20% lower average chip temperature → 46% less weight → Reduced leakage risk through a monolithic design From thermal simulation and topology optimization to Metal AM production — a great example of designing for performance, not around manufacturing limitations. A great milestone for the AMCM GmbH team. This new assembly site strengthens the ability to meet our growing demand for large-scale metal additive manufacturing and supports the next generation of industrial applications. Congratulations to everyone involved! 🚀
🏭 A New Assembly Site for the Future of Large and Ultra-Large Metal AM The official opening of AMCM's additional assembly site in Weilheim represents an important step in our commitment to supporting our customers' growing ambitions in large- and ultra-large scale additive manufacturing. 🤝 Together with the Bauer Unternehmensgruppe GmbH & Co. KG, we have created a facility that combines engineering expertise, industrial infrastructure, and a shared hands-on approach focused on delivering value to our customers. 🚀 As demand for large and ultra-large format metal AM continues to grow, including several orders for our largest system the AMCM M 8K, the new site enables us to scale production, helping our customers bring their applications to life. Depending on the production mix, multiple AMCM 450, AMCM M 4K and M 8K systems can now be assembled simultaneously, providing the capacity required to support growing customer demand. 🙏 A heartfelt thank you to the Bauer team for their trust, commitment, and outstanding collaboration throughout this project. We look forward to continuing this partnership and creating the space needed for the next generation of industrial additive manufacturing. Together, we're not just expanding capacity. We're building the foundation for future innovation.
