I think I understand why the kids keep getting kidnapped in Noblesse now. *has no idea how to kick off/raise the stakes in the last part of Trail without someone getting kidnapped* *hasn't been thinking too hard about it yet though*

As for VitM... I get to hopefully about the halfway point in planning for I get stuck. XD;; Ah, the problems you have when you don't see much of the 2012 timeline in Assassin's Creed. :P

I went into this without knowing anything about it apart from seeing one trailer. So I'm guessing my different expectations coloured everything.

Did more poking at Trail. I think I realised why I kept faltering at the end: it's not the end - it's the midpoint. And it's - *strangled noise* Huge. So, yeah, I was doing my usual of rushing when I start seeing the end and not thinking about the implications/character and *cry*

Basically, plot just exploded at me even worse than before. I'm also contemplating whether or not I should post while I'm writing or write everything first and edit it all but yeah, been noticing that there's a lot of stuff I don't think about/realise until readers point it out. XD;;;

Should look for a plot beta but there's 4k misc. beta readers on ff.net and trying to find the ones familiar with Noblesse... Clearly, I'm too tired - I was looking in the wrong section. *headdesk*

So, yes, plot decided to rear its head in Trail. I currently have 900+ words of plot. In bullet points. ORZ Kinda stuck for the ending/mid-point though. I have set up, but no carry through. Damn.

Also, DILEMNA. Do I put in the puppy from the Noblesse S?? How adorable would that be? I want to put the puppy in so bad! ;_______;

Hmmmm. On the fence again about calling the werewolf 'Kin'/the werewolf calling himself 'Kin' in his narrative since, even if you kept being called 'friend', that doesn't mean you'd adopt that as your name. But then, since the others are going to be treating it as a name, there are different inflections and alsdkjfa;sld *throws hands up in the air*

Okay, I'm sad that it's going to be a while until we get to see the next couple of chapters for 1/2 Prince when we're so close to the end BUT OH MY GOD, THE PREMISE FOR THIS NOVEL. *ROLLS IN THE SHINY FOREVER*

Huh. I think Trail just hit its natural stop. For a chapter. At just over a thousand words.

It's just...multi-chaptered fic, nooooooo (since I'm bad at finishing those), and I think Virus in the Machine's skewed things in my head (because it's currently sitting at 11k+)

I'll keep going and see if this is going to be a loooong one-shot, or a multi-chaptered fic.

I went looking for what I'd written already for Trail and...found that I hadn't typed up what I'd written, and I don't know where that particular notebook is. I've got the second half in another notebook, but yeah, not the first half.

On the other hand, this is good, because that means I won't be tempted to try and fit the OC's (I think Tao might just call him 'Wolfie'. It's either this or 'Runt'. -_____- ...The second one's the wolf's choice.) thoughts and reactions into essentially a different character's actions. Yeah, this wolf's different from the one in the first path. XD;;;;

Even later: OH OOPS. Right, wolves are colour blind. There shouldn't be any 'yellow-furred human' or anything like that. ORZ;; Guess it'll have to be through length and lightness (good thing they're all colour-coded either way)

In Trail news, the pacing is very...off. D: I have all these multiple info-dumps, I think only an hour or two has passed, and I was wanting about a month to pass... =/ Hmm. My end point also seems too...flimsy at the moment too, so I guess I'll just have to keep going until it feels right.

At the moment, I've got a minimum of 4.5k written, and what I've gotten down so far, it's basic (he said, he nodded, he shook his head, he said, he nodded, omg) so...this could still be a decent size, even though not much is happening. *snerk*

Hey, will anyone mind if I decide to write Trail instead of the Master and Slave thing for NaNo? XD;;

So, now I'm wondering if human!Marland is actually asexual. I mean, he has issues, but I actually don't know what they are so the way he is at the moment could be because of the issues or because he's asexual, or he has issues because he's asexual, or he has issues and is asexual. XDD; All I really know for a fact is that he isn't used to touch, which doesn't mean anything.

He's interested in Shodin, but not interested in sex. Which makes him a whole lot more interesting to me now, and I kinda wanna poke around in that 'verse, see what Shodin makes of it, see what they do with each other. Which would then mean actually thinking properly about this 'verse, rather than writing whatever comes to mind or what I want to happen. (Not to mention, I wanna get rid of the forehead poking, because that really isn't Marland. XDD;; And possibly the purple prosey stuff at the end of the first part. Though that was sort of the point of the exercise?)

Apart from the fact I have no idea what would happen later, though I guess the source of Shodin's memory loss isn't so important anymore, and there's no magic either, so yeah. On the other hand, does it really matter that it doesn't follow Searching - it is a romance AU for a reason. XD So I could just write the scenes I want to still, without them needing to lead anywhere.


Dragonhybrid!Marland is also asexual, but that's more circumstantial since he's well, the only dragon hybrid thing living in a human world where the majority of humans are either terrified of him and/or try to kill him. =/ He's really not going to want to do anything with them apart from run and hide.
Edit: Show me to talk about stuff before reading around properly and making sure I understand it. *facepalm* So, dh!Marland might not actually be asexual, if we take into account that he's not around his own species.


*snerk* Stuff in Trail is going all over the place from what I'd planned. XDD;; Like the name stuff. There's also something that I wanted to happen for the lulz, but it involves a slip of memory from Frankenstein, and I'm not sure if that'd happen, but the alternatives that Frankenstein has aren't better, so it's sort of justified.

Haha. Did some more thinking for Trail... I've been planning Searching, but not getting much writing done. Oops. The planning hasn't gotten very far either. =S

I'm about to hit the part where the wolf finds M-21 (idunno, two-hundred words in?) and, yeah, thinking. Because the wolf was going to leave because, well, his 'Kin' is a human. =/ He wants actual Kin rather than human-who-smells-vaguely-like-Kin, but then, well, he hasn't seen any other Kin for...a couple of centuries? So he might decide to stay - but then M-21 doesn't understand any of his gestures so that isn't exactly a fun situation to be in.

And it's still a 'second-best' type thing rather than actually wanting to stay. =/

So never mind. Guess he isn't staying. XDD; (Kinda happy, because I actually prefer the second path scenario, which can't be fitted that well into the first path)
