Amazon's Product Advertising API isn't built for competitive intelligence. Amazon Product Scraper takes any category or search URL and returns structured product data for every listing - prices, ratings, stock status, seller info. No locked dashboard. Just a flow of data you can plug into your BI stack, your repricing engine, or your automated workflows 🙌 Useful for: ▪️ Spotting discount campaigns ▪️ Tracking stock depletion as a demand signal ▪️ Reverse-engineering winning listings Try it yourself. Refreshing LinkedIn every hour to catch a new posting gets old fast. Ben Alvord built a system instead: Apify pulls new postings matching his filters, Claude flags only what's genuinely new, and Slack gets the alert. It's already caught jobs posted 19 minutes earlier; tight filtering is what keeps both the alerts useful and the cost down. Watch the full walkthrough below 👇
Don't you wish that you could get hourly alerts of new job opportunities that have been posted to LinkedIn? Well... you can! Ever since I started my job search, I've been beating my head against the wall, trying to figure out how to be promptly alerted when a new job is posted. I could sit at my laptop all day long, just refreshing the feed, but that seems like a good way to develop carpal tunnel syndrome (and a drinking problem). The system I've set up uses Claude, Apify and Slack to send me alerts. The video I made got too long, so the Claude walkthrough portion is pretty abrupt, but I'm going to include a link to a prompt template in the comments. If you try to set this up yourself and run into issues, please leave a comment and I'll do my best to respond. VERY IMPORTANT: The prompt template includes a JSON string which selects my job search criteria. You'll have to update that before running the prompt, unless you want to be alerted to Director of Digital Marketing roles, in which case don't watch this video at all because those jobs are mine. #jobSearch #jobAlerts

Knowing your own numbers only tells half the story. Tim Soulo built a small app for exactly that: tracking how competitors in his industry are growing, comparing that against his own audience, and flagging which posting habits and posts are actually working. The data runs through Apify for about $7 a month. Real benchmarking means comparing against the competition, not just your own history. See it in action below 👇
I created an app that helps me grow my LinkedIn following (67k at the moment). And I'm giving it away for free. -- UPDATE: you can download the app here: https://lnkd.in/g_KSzpxB -- The app is pretty simple. I feed it a list of people in my industry, and it tracks how their audience grows over time, compared to mine. Here's what that gives me: ▪️ A benchmark for my audience growth. Am I keeping up with the leaders in my space, or falling behind? ▪️ A sanity check on how often I post here. Generally, more posts = more followers. ▪️ A view of which posts are working for my peers. I.e. ideas and inspiration. Want to use it too? I don't plan to "publish" this app, because I don't want to deal with all the trouble that comes with it. But I'm happy to give you the source code. Which you can give to your AI assistant of choice (Claude Code, Letaido by Ahrefs, Lovable) and ask it to deploy it for you, either locally or on hosting. If there's enough interest - I'll update this post with a download link tomorrow. P.S. The monthly cost with Apify to get the data is just $7 but you can bring it down even more with lesser frequency.

Marketers who consistently produce winning ads will tell you the same thing - they copy what's already working. The problem is doing that at scale means watching hundreds of competitor ads manually. Michael Daigler built a tool with Apify and 12 Labs that automates it. Feed it a brand's Facebook page, it scrapes their top-performing ads from Meta Ad Library, ranks them by performance signals, and uses AI video analysis to return a creative brief: hook patterns, visual approaches, offer structures, CTAs. You can also interrogate individual videos and ask questions about specific moments. Full walkthrough in the video 👇

Most job titles undersell the actual work behind them. DevRel is one of the clearer examples. Manik . is hosting Saurav Jain, Senior Developer Community Manager at Apify, for a live conversation on what the role really involves day to day, past the version that usually gets pitched. Today, 9pm IST, online. If community, developer relations, or open source is your world, register to catch the full conversation 👇
What does a Developer Relations professional actually do all day? Is it coding? Writing technical content? Building communities? Running events? Talking to developers? Working with product and engineering? The answer is: all of it. And that's exactly what we're going to unpack in our upcoming session: Code, Content & Community: Daily Life in DevRel. I'm excited to host a conversation with Saurav Jain, Senior Developer Community Manager at Apify. 📅 Date: 12 Aug 2026 ⏰ Time: 9pm IST 📍 Mode: Online 🔗 Register Now: https://lnkd.in/gUEgwQJB Saurav has worked across developer communities, open source, technical content, developer advocacy, events, and product advocacy. Before Apify, he spent over two years at Amplication building and scaling developer communities and contributor initiatives. He's also spoken at international conferences including PyCon Italy, PyCon Ireland, FOSS India, and React Summit USA. So instead of another conversation about "What is DevRel?", we're going deeper into what DevRel actually looks like behind the scenes. We'll talk about: → How DevRel professionals actually spend their time → How code, content, and community come together → Building developer communities from zero → Turning users into contributors and advocates → Creating technical content developers actually care about → Building feedback loops between developers and product teams → Measuring the impact of DevRel → Breaking into DevRel as a student or early-career professional → Where AI is taking the DevRel ecosystem If you're interested in DevRel, developer communities, open source, content, or community-led growth, I'd love to have you join us.
