Time to take a little from this world we're given

And so it begins: I've spent years and years writing about pretty much everything under the sun, yet I have never written very much about myself outside of my (private) diary. Oh of course I have my resume and such, but that tells what I've done; it doesn't tell who I am...
So who am I? How does one define themselves? And what is CZ's thoughts and views on life/the world?
Perhaps that's the goal of this journal. I'll explore for a little bit, then see what kinds of images appear in the sand.
Anyone perfect must be lying
Anything easy has its cost
Anyone plain can be lovely
Anyone loved can be lost
What if I lost my direction?
What if I lost sense of time?
What if I nursed this infection?
Maybe the worst is behind
