In this post: a quick supplement to my Fandom Growth 2022 signup, individual thoughts on my Warhammer ships, because the AO3 signup box only allows 5,000 characters including spaces and HTML, and that divides badly among 11 ships. This is NOT a complete letter, just a supplement for that one canon with thousands of characters who do not do enough smooching.

This letter is intended to be a general guide to my smut preferences. Please refer to current signups for DNWs, fandom-specific information, etc. If you want something clarified, please feel free to ask through the mod of whatever exchange sent you here. If anything in here is contradicted by a specific exchange request you're considering, please treat the specific request as more accurate—there are exceptions to so many generalities :)

Chatty Paragraphs about Broader Topics

How Romantic?
Romance is cool (and there are a few ships where I am explicitly interested in their romance) but I like a lot of less-common motivations for consensual sex too. If you want to do stuff where a ship are FWB, hooking up casually, rivals who're really hot for each other, not in a relationship but volunteering for an important sex rite/ritual, performing some kind of sexual diplomacy with an attractive stranger, engaged in non-stigmatized sex work—those are all flavors I'd be happy to receive. I'm generally not looking for an existing nonromantic arrangement becoming "better" or more valid through the addition of romantic feelings.

Involving Other People: Poly, Jealousy, Cheating, etc.
The short version is, I like it when people trust each other and respect their commitments. If a relationship has established expectations, I want the people involved to meet those expectations and believe in each other to do likewise—jealousy plots and infidelity are not for me. Sex with no expectation of fidelity is also fine anywhere I don't talk about seeing the ship as romantic! Implying polyamory among them when my ships overlap (e.g., I request A/B and A/C, you suggest that A/B/C happens) is always welcome if that's your jam. I like Vs and complicated arrangements along with closed triads, as long as people respect each other and it's not an excuse for a jealousy plot. (The two endpoints of a V becoming friends based on their fondness for or protectiveness over their mutual lover is GREAT and doesn't happen nearly enough.) Unless the canon is set on modern earth, please don't use contemporary neologisms like metamour and polycule in fic.

Top/Bottom, Dom/Sub etc.
I almost never have ironclad preferences for who takes what physical position in sex; assume if I don't mention it I'm fine with whatever you want to do. I have feelings about power dynamics more often, and I'll mention it where that's the case. When I do have feelings about a power dynamic, it is always also ok to write/draw something that doesn't explicitly touch on who's in control! Please don't reverse a requested dynamic.

And a Lot of Specific Bullet Point Likes

In General:

Whatever sex act works for the ship and the idea you have! Oral, anal, vaginal, intercrural, fingering, fisting, more unusual things—I will happily read/look at any of it.

Come play, come marking, making someone a mess and enjoying it

Come inflation, especially in gangbang situations or with nonhuman character(s) doing the fucking

Clit stimulation: if a character has a clit I'd love to see it get some attention instead of skipping over that for a focus entirely on penetrative stuff

Characters roleplaying a fantasy, or talking through/narrating a fantasy while they're touching each other

Oral fixations, oral sex, someone really into licking/sucking what their partner's got

Penetrated characters being active participants who like how it feels and want it there (and there, too—penetration in multiple holes is lovely)

Painplay just because it feels good, from love bites and scratches to canes and whips: give me masochists who get high on sensation and sadists who get hot making them squirm

Canon magic/powers/xeno features used for sex, either as kink for the characters or as their "normal" that's distinct from ours

Nonhuman characters having nonhuman junk, heat cycles, etc., even if all the parts of them we see in canon are humanlike

Actually, heatfic in general—I like it best without any actual threat of pregnancy, and am a huge fan of heatfic without a/b/o trappings, either cases where heat is normal (everyone does it occasionally!) or vanishingly abnormal (this character is different from everyone else in the cast)

Sounding! Sounding is hot and I often fail to actually prompt for it but yum.

Playful porn/hentai plots where a conflict is resolved via heroic fucking!

Some Visual Pleasures:

Gloves, especially the formalwear, dress uniform, fingerless/motorcycle, and impractical JRPG fashion kinds. Gloved hands on bare skin. Gloved fingers in mouths.

Expressive faces—in consensual encounters, characters smiling and laughing during sex is gorgeous. In less consensual situations, fear or embarrassment or glazed eyes from being overwhelmed.

Messy fluids, facials, come dripping out of someone or splashed across their skin. Unrealistically generous amounts are A+.

Characters being still half dressed, or still wearing little bits of things to visually break up the bare skin: harnesses, heels with straps winding up the calf, jewelry at wrists and throat.

Piercings! Also tattoos, especially if they're something really personal to the character. Pretty jewelry chains draped between body piercings.

Scars, especially but certainly not only ones that correspond to canonical injuries, and also including deliberate decorative scarification along with incidental battle scars.

With Power Imbalances:

Hair pulling, manhandling, the dom putting their sub where they want them (especially to go along with/draw attention to size difference)

Hole spanking, pussy spanking—not generally as punishment but for the exposure/sensation making the sub turned on/extra tender and needy/attractively squirmy and desperate

Cockwarming, especially with a needy sub who really wants more and won't get it unless they're patient

Subs who went after this situation but might have gotten a little more than they bargained for (and are thrown off balance by how hot that is)

In ongoing situations, subs being expected to be available for use on command: wearing toys for their dom, presenting whatever part of them the dom wants to use, etc.

Specific femdom note: I'm not fond of pegging as a demonstration of dominance. Pegging as sensation play is great! But if you're doing D/s sex with a dom who doesn't have a cock, I'd much rather have them require their sub to service the anatomy they do have.

In Dubcon/Noncon Situations:

Pretty much anything in the power imbalance group as something the sub is forced to submit to

Forced or involuntary arousal/orgasm: the victim's mind still saying no while their body responds to unwelcome touch

Generally the physical mechanics of the sex going more smoothly than would be realistic: victims relaxed enough to take penetration, getting hard/getting wet, penetration being minimally painful if at all (other kinds of pain unrelated to penetration are still just fine!)

Victims in impaired mental states, drunk or drugged or sex pollened—unable to make meaningful choices, with someone taking advantage

But also, victims having to make choices between bad and worse, including "consenting" to sex to avoid other bad outcomes, having to pick what hole to "offer" to an aggressor or which potential aggressor to submit to, predicament bondage scenarios that will end with the victim stuffed full if they stop holding the stress position, etc.

My villain faves getting to keep their defeated opponents as pets/toys

In ongoing situations, victims sliding into a brainwashed place where they no longer care about escape and believe that sexual use is what they're for.
