So, I flew home from Germany on Thursday and was expecting to have to attend a funeral by now, but Grammy doesn't seem ready to go yet. She's had ups and downs since they pulled life support on Friday but she's still alive and pissed that she's in the condition she's in. She actually swore at the nurses and tried to kick them yesterday.
I think I'm going to try to get back to Germany by the 17th at the latest, I really miss my dog and my husband is really stressing about his new job. Hopefully life will look up soon, maybe I'll get a job!

OK!!
So I'm getting married on October 12th and I have been trying to convince myself that I can go on a honeymoon in December and call it our Christmas presents. My mother has totally bashed my ideas into the ground by bringing up the reality of having to get a job after relocating with my husband. We are planning to travel in the spring to my Mother-in-law's house in England for two weeks and asking for that time plus the time for a honeymoon in December just won't happen. So I ask you good people...
If you had a budget of about $2000 for everything (flight, hotel, food, getting around, having fun, etc) where would you go, what would you do? My fiance is in the Air Force so if we did certain things we could get discounts (for instance, Disney has a military hotel in Florida where we could get a highly discounted rate because of his rank, however I've done Disney 4 times in my 22 years and it can only be done so much.) I'd like a romantic type setting and I'm pretty sure Shawn wants beach and warm. So beach, warm, romantic... Go!
(Other info that might be important should anyone actually take me up on this: we would leave from Albany, NY for any flights.)
