Dr. Donald Heitman, MD

I had a terrible emergency when a ferocious gust of wind snatched me from the sidewalk and hurled me into the street with oncoming traffic. I landed on my right hip and snapped the neck of my femur bone. I needed hemiarthroplasty and Dr. Heitman made himself available to do the surgery late at night. What a good natured and person. In addition, I presented with an EDS co-morbidity which certainly didn't make the case easy. Nevertheless, Dr. Heitman meticulously planned for the surgery, opting to place a hip immobilizer on my surgical leg. In addition he customized the sutures to make sure the incision would heal properly given my co-morbidity of EDS. Dr. Heitman reflects very well on the orthopedic profession, demonstrating the finest qualities of a healer! His office staff is lovely: Nellie is very sweet; Joanne is very understanding; and Eric is very helpful.
