As of August 6, 2026, Dobot’s dbxvla method ranks No. 1 on both public leaderboards of the UNOBench Challenge: 🔹 Set of Marks: 86.39% SR-F1 — No. 1, +4.16 pp over No. 2 🔹 Natural Language: 80.04% SR-F1 — No. 1, +0.73 pp over No. 2 UNOBench evaluates a critical capability for real-world robotic manipulation: reasoning before action. A robot must not only recognize a target, but understand what is blocking it, determine what needs to be removed first, and reason through the right sequence before grasping. This means moving beyond “I can see it” to “I understand what needs to happen next.” From visual-language grounding and occlusion reasoning to action-oriented planning, these results demonstrate Dobot’s continued progress toward robots that can see, understand, reason, plan, and act in complex environments. Bridging the Gap between Academic Theory and Semiconductor Manufacturing DOBOT and Festo Didactic have jointly developed a fully automated semiconductor wafer inspection workstation, designed to meet the advanced teaching and research needs of universities and technical institutes. This workcell features DOBOT ATOM-D humanoid robot + Festo CP Lab station for semiconductor wafer cassette handling: Festo unit positions trays and triggers tasks via Pick-by-Light/HMI. ATOM-D loads trays onto inspection tables for visual/microscopic/manual defect checks. After testing, it returns trays or loads them onto Rover X1 Explorer for cross-area transport, creating a complete closed-loop workflow for automated handling and vision-based detection. Specifically developed for academic institutions and research labs, this joint solution provides a highly accessible and transparent platform for students to explore cross-disciplinary fields, including robotics control, mechatronics, and machine vision.
