I'm Chiara (that's kee-are-ah to the uninitiated (although this is a pseudonym. The names have been changed to protect- well, me, actually! :o).
I'm a sixty three year old married woman and a (semi retired) historian, writer, historical adviser and researcher by profession as well as a home maker and eccentric aunt and great aunt when I have time. I'm married to a Scot; he's a retired civil servant and historian as well as drop dead gorgeous :o) I'm a graduate in both early English literature and history and a qualified teacher. I've previously worked in no particular order as a teacher, charitable trust education manager, private tutor, barmaid, care worker, in adult special needs education and as a personal carer. My last qualification listing was: MA, BA(Hons), BA, Dip SEN, Dip MSH, PGCE- Not bad for someone who left school at fifteen unqualified :o) I'm from working class stock- born in a prefab on a council estate and the granddaughter of colliers (coal miners). I occasionally get accused of poetry and photography too.
