I also want to announce that hot chocolate is much tastier with a liberal splash of Grand Marnier in it.

Today I cleaned my house, finished (finally) my Christmas gift fic and sent it off to be beta'd, and am so glad I could finally get through it. It was tough this time, and it's the first thing I've been able to write since July. I hope it will unleash the floodgates and allow the words to start flowing again.

I went and bought alcohol for Christmas. Now I am just hoping that it lasts. I could get used to hot chocolate that way.

What is everyone doing for their break? Do you cook or do you eat out? If you cook, what do you make, and can I get some good recipes?

You haven't posted for a year or more

You've jumped fandoms to one I don't follow
You're only there to read the fic - my LJ isn't flocked

onci_dium arrives tomorrow morning, and me and titheniel will meet her off the plane. There will be much hilarity and you may well hear us from where you are, because those other girls are so noisy.

And in other news, @kanester01 seems to have impregnated everyone including @UNpossiblyJA, although he was sleeping at the time. @GennyCortese is having second thoughts about the marriage now it's over and is sueing for 85% of @TXCandyMan's assets, including Sadie, Harley and @bodylardjandj. @EltaDanneel is determined that @GennyCortese doesn't get @UNpossiblyJA as well, and he is in his craft closet, cowering, but pregnant. @EltaDannel is going to wrestle with @pennyfoxley, a hater, who feels that she has thighs that are capable of decapitating. @EltaDanneel is convinced that her breasts of steel will win the day. They will wrestle in lime jello, as she feels that it brings out her coloring best. @Kanester and @morosenbaum72 are ripping out the rear of the Vancouver house to build more rooms, including many nurseries for all the pregnant people, but because @morosenbaum72 keeps on going shopping, a family of raccoons have moved into @GennyCortese's monogrammed, acorn adorned cookware, but @EltaDanneel feels that there's good eating in a raccoon, so @tomswelling has appointed her caterer. Despite this, @EltaDanneel has declined to be on Smallville, because @tomswelling wanted her to be Lex instead of Lana, and also to be a bridesmaid at his and @morosenberg72's forthcoming nuptuals, because @GennyCortese has decreed that she must wear yellow. @UNpossiblyJA is going to be in @kanester01's band to replace the now defunct @steviemeatie, having been promised that he can sing his verse of Crazy Love without needing to do all the falsetto. Meanwhile, @DeadDaddyJeff does keep offering to touch his screen sons in the bad place, and is trying to make sure nobody kicks Icarus. @jmannnz just wants people to pay him $10.

I did a flist cut, and took off the folks that are really only there for my fic, cos that's not going to ever be friends-locked. If I cut you in error, and you actually want to talk to me when I do a rare non-fic post, then please let me know, and I'll put you back and pretend it never happened. It's just that I couldn't find anything when I look through my flist, and I got frustrated.

Secondly, while I am actually doing a rare non-fic post, what do you think of this? I keep on looking and the whole idea completely baffles me. I'm interested in other peoples' thoughts.

Can anyone out there on my flist answer this for me?

Why take the one thing above all others that men absolutely CAN'T do and hand it over?

Am I missing something? It all seems so silly to me.

1: I am wearing AWESOME shoes. I think that actually they are the most awesome shoes I have ever owned. AND I'M WEARING THEM! ON MY FEET!

3: My BIG Bang, although not finished, looks like it actually will be ready for May 1. This wasn't always the case!
