My Story...

This is the writing journal of the LJ user you probably know (since you're here) as mustangcandi. Welcome. :)

I've been writing short stories, and tall tales since I was a child. It started in third grade when I was sick in the hospital and wrote "The Magic Roses"...a piece of fiction that won me second place in the Young Writer's Contest. I've written many things, a lot of fan fiction, some non-fan fiction. It is a way for me to escape, to dream, to live outside the world that surrounds me.

Writing is a piece of my soul and it used to be something I was too afraid to share. Lovely comments, and lovelier friends in wonderful communities like savecolby and numb3rs100 have inspired me and encouraged me. So, I created this journal as a place to house those fragments of my soul I'm willing to share. May you enjoy them as much as I treasure them.
