A new connection for Irvine opened this week, and it's already earning recognition. The nearly 1,200-foot Jeffrey Open Space Trail Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge received the 2026 Outstanding Bridge Project Award from ASCE Orange County, recognizing its engineering excellence and community impact. As prime consultant and lead designer, we partnered with the City of Irvine to help deliver the project. The completion of the project closes a gap in the city’s overall trail network and provides a key linkage between trails that extend from the Pacific Ocean to the Santa Ana Mountains and Cleveland National Forest. Read the full story for more on the award, the design, and the new trail connection opening this week. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/ePvk9U85 #TYLinConnects #ASCE #ActiveTransportation #CityOfIrvine

The best way to learn engineering is to solve a real problem. Through TYLin's Blueprint NYC program, students from Manhattan Bridges High School worked alongside our engineers to redesign New York City's sidewalk scaffolding. They tested ideas, refined their concepts, and presented their final designs before the program concluded with the annual Blueprint NYC Scholarship. Discover how Blueprint NYC is helping students build the skills and confidence to pursue engineering careers. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/e8CdmNYd #TYLinConnects #STEMEducation #EngineeringEducation #FutureEngineers #WorkforceDevelopment

Every professional engineer carries a responsibility that extends beyond the work itself. A PE license represents technical expertise, ethical practice, and a commitment to protecting the public. This Professional Engineers Day, we are sharing perspectives from Sarah Raykhman, PE, Jeanne Work, PE, and Thomas Reynolds on what it means to them to sign their names as professional engineers. Their words speak to the care, integrity, and accountability they bring to every project. Happy Professional Engineers Day to all who uphold the profession's standards and help create healthier, more resilient communities. #TYLinConnects #ProfessionalEngineersDay
