Designed and built to bring people together, foster collaboration, and spark new ideas, the workspace reflects the same collective energy that powered its delivery. We were honoured to see this collaborative effort recognized at the 29th Best of Canada Design Awards. To celebrate, here are a few fun facts about the cities where we’ve proudly planted a GB flag: Toronto’s PATH stretches more than 30 km underground and is used by 200,000+ commuters daily. Kitchener-Waterloo’s Oktoberfest started in 1969 with just $200 and local volunteers. Today, it welcomes up to 700,000 visitors annually. Edmonton is one of Canada’s sunniest cities, with about 2,299 hours of sunshine each year and up to 17 hours of daylight in the summer. Calgary sits where the Bow and Elbow rivers meet, in an area also known as Moh-kins-tsis in Blackfoot. This Pride Month, we didn't stop. GB's Got Game 🏀 It was nothing but net when we brought together our team and industry partners for the 4th Annual GB Cup Tournament. This year we swapped the rink for the court, with teams bringing their A-game for more than just a friendly pick-up game. Congratulations to Page Flooring Inc. for their full court press that ultimately had them taking home top prize. And while there were plenty of highlight-reel moments, the real slam dunk was raising $35,000 for Make-A-Wish Canada and helping make some dreams come true (and not exclusively the hoop variety!).
