  • Escape the Backrooms was the most-downloaded game on the NA/EU PlayStation Store in June!? 😱 We're a little shook (in a good way), but also immensely grateful for all the love and support from the 4+ million players who have braved the Backrooms since we brought it to PS5 and Xbox at the end of May. We also just launched the Switch 2 version last week, so now even more of you can explore, scream, and die horrifically... together.❤ A mega high-five to our friends at Secret Mode and Escape the Backrooms' original developer, Fancy, who have been amazing partners on this thrilling adventure. We've got plenty more Backrooms coming, too. So stay tuned for more levels, cosmetics, and improvements!

  • Art, sound, level, quest, and narrative design — our team contributed to nearly every corner of Starfield's Free Lanes update and Terran Armada DLC!🚀 We poured our hearts into this project. Collaborating with the incredible team at Bethesda Game Studios has been such an honor, and seeing fans respond so warmly (including all the Milliwhale memes) is a genuine thrill! Thank you to our partners at Bethesda for trusting us to play and build in this amazing universe. It’s been a big year for us, and we can’t wait to share what else we’ve been working on.

  • It's such an honor to have ported Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero to the Switch 2! 🥳 Done entirely in-house, we're proud to deliver ports that take full advantage of the Switch 2's more powerful hardware. We implemented enhanced graphics like shadows and light rays for Subnautica, and both games now support 1440p with up to 60 fps when docked (1080p, up to 60 fps in handheld). Both also support the Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, too! Subnautica was a huge inspiration for how we approached Early Access for Hardspace: Shipbreaker, so getting to contribute to its legacy is an incredible privilege. A Leviathan-sized thank you to Unknown Worlds Entertainment and KRAFTON Inc. for trusting us to develop these ports, and to our team who did such brilliant work. If you have a Switch 2, we'd love for you to check out Subnautica and Below Zero!

  • We're off to DICE next week! 🎲 Our very own Alex Delamaire 🔜 DICE / GDC and Rory McGuire will be there catching up with partners, making new friends, and talking shop! If you see us, say hello! We're always happy to chat about development, sustainability, and the realities of co-development and original IP in the current landscape (which we were cited on in a recent GamesIndustry.biz article -- link in the comments! 👇) And if that's not reason enough to grab a coffee, word has it we'll also have some extras of our Hardspace: Shipbreaker mini LEGO Mackerels that we'd love to share. Looking forward to seeing you in Vegas! 🥂

  • We couldn't wind down for the holidays without taking a moment to thank you -- our partners, peers, and players -- for all your love and support this year! It’s an immense privilege to work alongside so many talented people. We’re so grateful to each and every one of you for helping make this year full of amazing moments like... 🚀 Re-acquiring the Hardspace: Shipbreaker IP and beginning work on new Hardspace projects! 🎃 Launching Escape the Backrooms 1.0 with our friends at Secret Mode to Overwhelmingly Positive reviews! 🪐 Helping the wonderful Soft Rains launch Ambrosia Sky: Act One to 94% positive reviews on Steam! 👀 Teasing mysterious new projects with groundbreaking labels like Lyrical Games! And so, so much more that we can’t wait to talk about! Thanks for a great year, and we hope your holiday is filled with family, friends, warmth, and (most importantly) lots of rest. See you next year!

  • It's been such a joy supporting Soft Rains' development of Ambrosia Sky. We'd love for you to check out this strange, beautiful, and somber immersive sim about exploring an asteroid colony overrun by hostile, deadly alien fungus.
