RIP Birch forest update you will be missed.

    Written by (AFOL) in Australia,

While I can't look at this set and its miscoloured tree and mourn the loss of the Birch forest update that was cut from the "Wild" update, I still think this is one of the greatest Minecraft sets ever.

First of all the build. My god, the build. I had so much fun building the set and the joy that a simple play feature like a functioning windmill just made me feel 10 again. Sure its not a huge windmill but between its colour, function and well sized farm I am not complaining. Would look great next to the barn if you have it! (I don't so can't comment)

Next I must talk about the figures/mobs. MORE SHEEP VARIANTS. Sure one of them is a repeat but we get two coloured sheepies in this set which is always a good thing. Between sheep colours and cat variants (and now dog variants too... damn) the little collectathons are fun. We also get an new player skin with an Iron Hoe, another zombie and our first Shepard villager! Loom included, which by the way was a clever little build.

Such a banger of a set, but not even the best set of the wave... 10/10
