By in United States,

I guess we’re on a Fabuland streak

Gravatar
By in United States,

I am amused at a second helping of Fabuland!

Gravatar
By in United States,

That strange kind of umbrella piece on the carousel...
hoo boy, it’s nightmares time.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Haunted house?? That’s what it looks like to me...

Gravatar
By in United States,

There's a fox, a sheep, and a boat. After yesterday, I really feel like this set needed a cabbage.

By in United Kingdom,

More Fabuland. This is what I like to see. Sadly don't own this one. It was released in the era of "you're getting a bit old for Fabuland now" !!
(I would have been 13 when it was released....)

By in Australia,

There is a fox and a crocodile. No wonder the lamb is rowing away from the amusement park. Quick little lamb, the crocodile is coming down the stairs and is heading into the water. Can the mouse escape while the fox and crocodile are distracted while hunting the lamb?

Fabuland lore rivals bionicle.

There are loads on Bricklink for not a lot of money. It could be yours if you so wish. :)

By in Australia,

Yes, the crocodile luring the lamb into the tunnel of love is a little bit disturbing, but still, this is a gorgeous set.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Did a double take at the RSotD article on the homepage, thought I was looking at yesterday's, lol.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Fabuland twice in a row huh

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Absolutely no one in this amusement park looks even the slightest bit amused.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Vidiyo is released and Fabuland had to show how anthropomorphic Lego figures are supposed to be done.

Actually, scratch that. The beaver/mouse thing in the ferris wheel looks way more amused than anyone riding something like that has any right to be. Didn’t see him the first go round.

And yes, I just replied to myself.

By in Poland,

These are super great. Make me hungry for a Fabuland revival.

Gravatar
By in Austria,

Yeyy! More of the good stuff please...

Gravatar
By in Greece,

So many memories of childhood innocence...
I think fabuland line must rise again!

Gravatar
By in Australia,

One of the best Fabuland sets in my opinion. That said though, it’s not great.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I want a Fabuland revival.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Lego has the ability to revive Fabuland by continuing their relationship with licensed Nintendo products by releasing an Animal Crossing theme.

Please?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Is Huwbot hinting at the Great Fabuland Revival, the nostalgic 18+ theme specially crafted to get us in-sync with our childhood through mindfulness and DIY, which should be revealed any day now??

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I like the Fabuland figs with the old eyes better

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Robot99:
Yesterday’s was less murdery, and more...other stuff.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I think this is pretty cute and looks like a lot of fun to play with for little kids.

Although the mirror card they put down to look like water for the boat does look a bit low budget.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Huwbot: "dear LEGO fans, I present to you...
Fabuland week!"
;-)

When was the first helping of Fabuland? And what is it?

Gravatar
By in United States,

They should bring back that fence-with-hearts mold. It'd be perfect for Friends.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I remember the slide was pretty cool, and you could spin the Ferris wheel really fast and the mini-figures didn't fall out! Does anyone know what the 1,2,3,4 and 5 tiles lying on the table are about? They would be really useful nowadays.

My guess: it’s a lottery

By in France,

The Fabuland sets about fairground are the end of an era. Last years of Fabuland were a little disappointing, except for the 3646 kitchen and the 3680 caravan and rowboat. And I hated the new print of the eyes in 1986.

Yes, that's probably what it is. The same tiles were used in 3659-1 where they represented hopscotch though (I own that one). Very useful tiles indeed.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Give those figs a tommygun and you have a scene from Suicide Squad ready to go.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Alatariel:
Shame there doesn't wasn't a "6" tile. Be fun to attach those to a Lego Games die.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@TheOtherMike:
It's a common tradition with dice that you can replace the 1 or the 6 (but not both) with an image, and people will figure it out. So, pick any decorated 2x2 tile that's not a number and you've got a full set. Just remember that opposing pairs always add up to 7 (1 & 6, 2 &5, 3 & 4).
