Today's random set is 2882 Speedboat, released in 1997. It's one of 47 Town sets produced that year. It contains 22 pieces and 1 minifig.

Does the job. Looks like a typical small boat, but uses only aircraft hull components and a standard windshield.

If I were to get this set, the first thing I'd build is a trailer. Boats these size kind of look out of place without one .

And people complain about sets being expensive these days. This would have cost about £5 - for 22 pieces!

This was given out by a news paper as a promotion around 2001-2002 in Turkey. I got a few of these. One remains built. Others have been turned into spare parts. Maybe I should have kept one in box.
