You needn't ask permission to friend me and i don't mind total strangers reading my journal. i don't always friend back but don't take it personally. i have a separate filter for more personal (and often Leather, D/s, BDSM, and kink-related) posts so if you friend me and wish to be added to that filter, please let me know.

i will ramble about everything from Leather, to wolves, to firearms, to BDSM, to to my pets (furbabies), to smuttery, to GLBT issues, to work, to politics (especially illegal immigration), and everything else under the sun. If you're even remotely homophobic, this is NOT the place for you and i'd advise moving right along.

i will periodically post short stories I've written (which usually fall under the category of 'smut'). i'm a feedback whore like most writers, so please don't be shy. The things i post aren't always work-safe but i do try to put questionable content behind the trusty LJ-cut. If you're offended by anything you read here, it's your own damned fault as you've been suitably warned.

i identify primarily as male even though i am biologically female - "boyspace" is a far more comfortable and natural place for my head and has been since i was very young (Sir says i have a "man brain"). i actively live as a leatherboy 24/7 - it's not about anatomy, gender, or age; it's just who i am. i suppose i could technically be considered transgendered but i really don't care for that label (or ANY label for that matter). Unfortunately, the available gender options on most websites do not include "gay leatherboy trapped in the wrong body (missing body parts i should have been born with and saddled with body parts i never should have had)."

i have the utmost respect for Leather, particularly the history, formality, traditions, roles, protocols, and basic tenets (Honour, Integrity, Loyalty, Respect). i am relatively new to Leather but not D/s, BDSM, or kink. i am quite active within NLA (the National Leather Association) - both the International and Houston chapters - and have nothing but the highest praise and respect for the vast majority of the people that i've encountered thus far. Since finding Leather, it's as if a piece of the puzzle of me i didn't even realise was missing finally slipped into place. i feel as if i've truly found my calling as a leatherboy. In short, it's a homecoming that's been nearly a lifetime in the making.

With regards to my relationship status, i am currently petitioning a local Leatherman to join His Household.

i have been told i'm a natural submissive and i can't help but agree with that as i feel like it's something that comes very easily and instinctively to me and to which i am inexorably drawn. As you may have noticed, i take Leather and D/s VERY seriously but i still have a great deal of playful boy energy and a tremendous sense of fun. my submission is NOT about sex - it's about service (but... y'know, in case you were wondering, sex = teh_awesome).
