games with word lists, alas
Dec. 8th, 2018 01:04 pmI've started playiing Spelling Bee at the New York Times site. (I pay for the news, but some perfectly good puzzles are included. No link because paywall, alas.) It's a game where they give you seven letters, and you find words that use only those letters -- and you must use one specific letter in every word.
Words that the game has refused to recognize, thus far:
cruft, Blacula (okay, it's a proper name), riprap, trog(g), tarn, bazonga, organon*, borg, norn, boggan**
ETA: And
calimac, today (Sunday). Hmph.
* That's a Kate Bush reference, not an ancient Western civ reference
** The sprites, not the slang
