On 22 July 2026, UNDP Bahrain held an interactive workshop at Youth City on “Understanding the Sustainable Development Goals: From Global Goals to Local Action.” Through a hands-on session, young participants explored the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, connected the SDGs to Bahrain’s national priorities, and worked together to transform local challenges into practical, youth-led action ideas. The session was delivered by Dr. Hessa Al-Fadhel, Assistant Professor at the University of Bahrain, in coordination with the Ministry of Youth Affairs.
