Debian wheezyが2013/05/04にリリースされました。 カーネルも一気にバージョンがあがって、いろいろなパッケージも新しめのバージョンが入って・・・ と、モダンな雰囲気を感じれていい感じです。 が、当然バージョンが変わったのでsqueezeと同じつもりで使ってるといくつか問題が起きたのでその備忘録です。 全体的には思ったよりも問題は発生せず、いままで通り使えています。 パッケージがいくつかなくなってる 普段使用しているパッケージでは以下の二つがなくなってました。 libssl0.9.8 libreadline5-dev libssl1.0.0とlibreadline-gplv2-devに変更しました。

アップグレードの前には、5章wheezy で知っておくべき問題点 に書かれている情報も読むことをお勧めします。この章に書かれている問題点は、アップグレードの過程と直接は関係がないかもしれませんが、それでもアップグレードを開始する前に知っておくべき重要事項である可能性があります。 システムをアップグレードする前に、完全なバックアップを取っておくよう強くお勧めします。少なくとも、失いたくないデータや設定情報だけでもバックアップしておきましょう。アップグレードのツールや処理はきわめて信頼性の高いものですが、アップグレードの最中にハードウェア障害が起こると、システムに大きなダメージを与えることがありえます。 バックアップしておくべき主な対象として、/etc、/var/lib/dpkg、/var/lib/apt/extended_states の中身、dpkg --get-selections "*
さくらのVPSを Debian squeeze から wheezy にアップデートした。 source.list の更新 まず初めに source.list の更新。 http://debgen.simplylinux.ch/ で生成できる。 国を Japan、version を wheezy、アーキテクチャーを32bit、その他チェック項目を全部選択した。 生成された項目を以下に書き込む。 /etc/apt/source.list 書き換える際にwheezy がstableになったときにtesting は次のものをさすので書き換えとく。 # source.list diff - deb http://ftp.jp.debian.org/debian testing main contrib non-free - deb-src http://ftp.jp.debian.org/debia
手順は期本通り。 Ctrl + Alt + F1 でコンソールから。 apt-get update apt-get upgrade apt-get dist-upgrade aptitude install reboot 時間のかかるパッケージ officeなどデスクトップ環境のアップグレードに時間がかかるかと思ったら、texとghc環境に時間がかかった。 使わないなら先に削除して後で使うときに入れ直すと速い。 java default-jre の依存関係エラーが出る場合は apt-get remove gcj-jre http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=676485 一度パッケージを削除。 sun-java は wheezy では無いそうだけど、squeezeで入れていたなら削除はされない模様。 グラフィックボード Radeo
検索しても仮想化環境のOSアップグレードをやった記事がヒットしない。 探し方が悪いだけ？ 方針は次の通り。 ホストOS一台のゲストOSをライブマイグレーションで移動して空にする ホストOSアップグレード ゲストOSアップグレード アップグレードしたホストOSにゲストOSを移動 ゲストOS起動 とりあえず最初の一台は念のためアップグレードじゃなくて再インストールでやってみた。 DRBDの連携も squeeze と wheezy で繋がる。ganetiも問題無し。ということでスタート。 gnt-instance migrate instance1 gnt-instance replace-disks --new-secondary node3 instance1などをやってnode1を空にする。 # sources.list の squeeze を wheezy に書き換え apt-get u
