How far is too far? Words cannot be unsaid, actions cannot be undone, and after a disagreement over the Sokovia Accords and the handling of the Winter Soldier resulted in an all out brawl, is there hope for The Avengers to be a team again?
After the reveal of Wakanda to the world, King T'Challa has been working with other world leaders to amend the accords. In the meantime, with the assistance of Tony Stark, a deal has been struck with the authorities to pardon Captain America and his team of fugitives, but on one condition: they submit to house arrest at Avengers Tower. For Scott Lang, so he wouldn't lose visitation rights for his daughter, the others have reluctantly agreed.
Tensions run high as the team attempts to accept what transpired and rebuild what was lost, but the lingering animosity isn't helped along by the fact that Stark's team still has their freedom, albeit one limited by curfews and mandates. Then there's the little matter of the misplaced Asgardians that have come to Earth looking for refuge. The civilian refugees have been allowed to set up camp in a remote corner of Norway, under the condition that the criminal and terrorist Loki is to be kept confined at Avengers Tower, while the other remaining warriors are placed under the same restrictions as Stark's team.
Avengers Tower stands as a monument of hope to many, and fear to others, but to those housed within it is equal parts prison and powder keg. Just how long the fractured team can last before the pressure become too much is anyone's guess. Welcome to Avengers Under Glass.
