Some things I wanna watch soon in no particular order (a.k.a. I opened Netflix and so many things caught my interest and now I gotta list them all or else I'll forget):

• Sunshine (2024)
  • Recommended by one of my Bsky mutuals. My partner doesn't really seem interested so I might watch this by myself.
• 100 Meters / ひゃくえむ。 (2025)
  • Looking forward to this since I also loved Uoto's other work, Orb.
• Dead Poets Society (1989)
  • Leaving Netflix soon, apparently, so I need to kick my dang ass into gear lol
• In the Mood for Love (2000)
  • Not on Netflix, but I've wanted to watch this for a while. It's so intriguing, plus it was also mentioned in the fic I'm currently reading. Fun fact, I have a 花樣年華 tattoo because of the BTS album "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life", but this is the same Chinese title for "In the Mood for Love".
• Cosmic Princess Kaguya! / 超かぐや姫！ (2026)
  • Saw it on Netflix, looks interesting, highly rated on MAL.
• Love through a Prism (2026)
  • Netflix-original ONA, also highly rated on MAL (unfortunately I treat this fuckass site's ratings like the word of God as it hasn't really failed me yet), but more importantly: PERIOD DRAMA. I'm a sucker for period dramas and my eyes just zoomed in on the "1900s London" mention in the summary.
• Miss Kobayashi's Maid Dragon / 小林さんちのメイドラゴン (series)
  • I've watched the 1st season, but not the 2nd one, and the movie that released last year. The first season was the closest to happiness I have ever felt in my life, and when the season ended, I thought I'd never smile again. (exaggeration, but that's how much joy it brought me) I don't know why I didn't jump at the opportunity to watch S2 when it was released, but I must catch up now!

I tried to go directly from sketch to coloring and it's a bit messier than I would have liked, but I realized it's probably just because I keep on zooming in and can see how rough the lines look. At a passing glance (which is usually the case on social media feeds), it looks fine. The ribbon on his top stressed me out the most, ngl. I'm happy with how this turned out in the end!

Why did I start on so many things lol

• Jan. 19: FE Engage Rosado's birthday
  • Birthday art still not finished (coloring); also contemplating if I actually wanna line it but it's too far gone at this point
• Jan. 25: Sylvix soulmates AU for Sylvain Angst Weekend
  • I have like. 200 words down. Actually idek where I wanna go with this and how long it'll be? Went into it with zero plan
• Feb. 8: Blue Lions Big Bang fic final deadline
  • Currently reviewing comments and revising (etherealwill is an amazing beta reader and I love her so much 😭)
  • Currently sitting at 18k words but I expect this to increase to 20k once I am done with the other edits
• Feb. 12: MHA Asui Tsuyu's birthday
  • Sketch & lineart done; laying down flat colors
• Feb. 13-15: #ficwip hey, sweetheart
  • Fic 1 (BKDK) finished at around 1.1k words
  • Fic 2 (TDBKDK) wip at around 800+ words atm

I need to lock tf in tomorrow if I wanna post Rosado's art in time... though I always give myself leeway past midnight because I know it's still his birthday on the other side of the world, effectively giving me uhhh 36 hours or something idk I guessed the number.

I love him but there's something about drawing him that makes me give up halfway through LMAO this is the second time I've drawn him and lost steam, but I really really wanna draw my baby.

I also have some commitments irl so I might not be able to write or draw on some days... I'm past my GYWO goal for January though, which is good. I've been so talkative this month.

I swear I'm not like a huge Ado fan as my 2 Ado posts this week would suggest, but... the way my jaw dropped when I saw the words 'Soldier game' and 'Ado' together on Youtube... God, I miss Love Live, and LLSIF. I can't still can't believe KLab fucked everyone over by going EOS, saying we can transfer our shit to their new game, then killing the new game just a few weeks after releasing it on global. Who does that??? Who???

Happy Oshi no Ko Season 3 day!!! I have actually finished the manga for Oshi no Ko (read the end point of S2 up until the ending, to be more precise), so even with all the infamy surrounding the succeeding parts of the story, I still very much look forward to it being animated/adapted, mostly because OnK's art style is Delicious. 

Reaction post for Episode 1, obvious spoilers for S1 and 2, but no manga spoilers. Very minimal editing happening here so it sounds kinda unhinged because I was typing them up as I go, lol.

Challenge #7: LIST THREE (or more) THINGS YOU LIKE ABOUT YOURSELF. They don’t have to be your favorite things, just things that you think are good. Feel free to expand as much or as little as you want.

This is really hard as I have bad self-esteem and you'll probably see that some of these are based on how other people validated me through their own perceptions, and how I was merely influenced by those, but I will try:

1. I like my sense of humor. I think I'm pretty damn funny. Well, not by myself, but when I have someone to bounce off on.
2. I like my taste in music! Some genres I like are k-pop, j-pop/j-rock, indie, alt rock, pop punk, and new wave. My recent post with music recommendations was well-received, which felt really good. (Even if it wasn't, I would still think my music taste is the bee's knees.)
3. I like that I have thoughts and can sometimes articulate them. A lot of times they're not 100% comprehensible or meaningful (just variations of "wow I loved this" or "wow this sucks") but I think it's more about having thoughts about things and putting them out there, or talking about them with someone. I think that's important, especially during times when people make others feel like it's bad to have an opinion or to be outspoken.
4. I like that parents seem to like me a lot. (My own parents not included.) Idk why that is, exactly, but my friends' parents and my partner's mom like me even though I'm not like... the perfect child. I guess it's just because I'm polite and treat their kids nicely? Lol. It does feel a bit weird when my friends say, "Oh my mom didn't like this other friend," because it's like... damn, what did they do to be disliked?
5. I like that I'm semi-decent at rhythm games. I think it's a cool skill to show off to non-rhythm gamers.
6. I like that my former coworkers remember me as someone with a good work ethic. This is not entirely true, I'm not a square, but I do take pride in being communicative and being as thorough as possible with my work, as it was both client-facing and customer-facing.

Oooh, hmm, Top 10... Let's go with top 10 songs in my Liked Songs playlist. I currently have 330 lol.

The art itself

Happy birthday to Shouto! I did this super quick so it looks kinda sloppy. I really love timeskip Shouto's hair style, and more mature jawline.

I was in such a hurry because I saw 1/11 art at around 11:35 PM and was like, oh shit, I forgot all about Shouto day!! so I got to sketching reeeeal fast (amazed that I got his face shape right the first time when I kept on struggling just last week). When I was about to upload the pic, I noticed there weren't a lot of posts on his Bluesky birthday tag yet. 

That's when I realized it just turned 1/11, and I'm early, not late. Anyway, happiest of birthdays to the coolest, kindest baby boy; I love him so much :"D

Hmm I get asked this pretty often and I always think of stuff I'd never buy for myself but would gladly get as a gift, and how I should really make that list, but I keep on forgetting to do it, and now I've even forgotten what I was supposed to put in it.

Anyway. Three things.

1. Fanart of one of my AO3 fics? I'd like to experience it at least once. I mean I guess I have one on the way since I'm part of a big bang, but it kind of doesn't count since it's literally the event mechanic lol
2. An animatic of Todobakudeku to the song "I Want My Boyfriends to Kiss" by Ashnikko. LMAO I'd do it but that's...! A lot of drawing I'm not particularly good at!!! (Never been good at drawing kissing scenes)
3. gif icons like the one I'm using for this post for any of these fandoms (HeroAca, Persona 3/5, Hunter x Hunter, Spy x Family...) :D I have less than 50 icon slots left and I clearly have a hoarding problem, but gif icons are so cool to me...
