Automan is a hologram that, when given enough power, can materialize into the real world. His primary occupation is fighting crime along with his creator, police officer Walter Nebicher. He poses sometimes as an FBI agent Otto J. Mann to keep his real identity a secret. His sidekick, Cursor, a shifting polyhedron is able to create anything and everything he might need. Including changing his clothes so he can blend in and assume new roles. He has been programmed with everything Walter wanted to be in a crime fighting detective.
