Creating protected time for preceptorship is not optional, it is the responsibility of both organisations and nurse leaders. If we are serious about supporting the next generation of nurses, we must commit to a structured approach and allocate the time needed to guide and develop preceptor roles. Interested in learning more about the B.E.E. squad? Stay in touch and look out for upcoming updates over the next couple of months. It was a privilege to present our research on preceptorship and launch a Bullwinkel scholarship project at this year National Nursing Forum, Australian College of Nursing (ACN) alongside Christine Adams and Suzanne Partigliani. It was an exciting opportunity to share our work and contribute to shaping the future of nursing.
