  • At PwC Australia, career growth and family life can thrive together. For private deals director Jenny Nguyen, flexible work and parental leave help make both possible. As she prepares to welcome her first child, these policies give her the confidence to focus on this personal milestone and plan for a smooth return to work in a way that suits her and her team. Supporting our people means backing them through life's biggest moments, as well as their professional ones. All the best with this next chapter, Jenny. #PwCProud #SoYouCan

  • Today we launch Finance Managed Services, the first in a new series of agentic-powered managed services.    It brings enterprise-grade finance solutions within reach of the nearly 70 per cent of Australian businesses in the private and mid-market.     AI handles the routine work; our people provide the oversight and accountability clients rely on. And finance is just the beginning.    Read more from Jade Dixon below.

Today we launch PwC's Finance Managed Services, the first in a new series of agentic-powered managed services to support the growth of Australia's engine room: private and mid-market businesses.     Around 70 per cent of Australian businesses sit in the private and mid-market segment, contributing more than a third of the nation's GDP. Most have never had access to this kind of capability. Finance Managed Services changes that.     A future-ready, scalable finance function delivered as a service, from bookkeeping to CFO support, compliance, and insightful reporting. It's tailored to where your business is today and built to grow with your needs tomorrow.     This is a fundamentally new way of working. AI agents handle the routine, repetitive tasks with speed and precision, while our PwC people provide the oversight, judgement and accountability our clients rely on. It's a model where we advise, build and operate, together with our clients.     And finance is just the beginning. This launch establishes the foundation for a broader suite of agentic-powered managed services across areas including cyber security, financial crime, HR, procurement, analytics and digital trust.     A huge thank you to the exceptional colleagues I've had the privilege of working alongside to bring this to life. This offering reflects our deep experience working with private businesses, family enterprises and mid-market organisations across Australia.     To learn how PwC's Finance Managed Services can help unlock your business's full potential, and to speak with one of our finance specialists, look here: https://pwc.to/4havC42 We'd love to hear from you.

  • Australia's critical minerals pipeline: the numbers tell an important story. 907 projects nationwide. Only 13 are close to a final investment decision. Just six have reached this milestone since 2022. Our latest report is a scorecard that examines where in the pipeline is stalling and what it will take to convert Australia's mineral endowment into investable projects. Can we get serious about critical minerals now? Australia has over 900 critical minerals projects in its pipeline, yet only 13 are close to a Final Investment Decision. At a time when allies are prioritising security of supply and competing nations are moving quickly to industrialise their value chains, Australia needs to accelerate the development of its critical minerals sector. Our latest Aussie Mine Series 2026 article reveals the current state of the critical minerals pipeline, and ideas on what needs to change. • When it comes to creating a healthy workplace, small moments can make a big difference. At our recent BeWell expos, our people were encouraged to step away from their desks and make time for themselves. Whether it was a Pilates session, free health checks, cycle-powered smoothies, puppy pats, or a conversation with colleagues, each experience was a reminder that looking after yourself doesn't have to be complicated. From moving more to setting up ergonomic workspaces and accessing support when needed, the expos also offered practical ways to prioritise health every day. Wellbeing isn't something that happens outside of work. It's an important part of doing your best work. Thanks to everyone who stopped by!

The mining industry has always been shaped by geology. But geology alone is no longer enough.   As I reflect on the findings from PwC's latest global mining report "Mine 2026: Ambition to action", one message stands out: the next generation of mining value will be created by those who can mobilise policy, capital and productivity most effectively, not simply those with the best resources. Revenues for the world's top 40 mining companies grew to US$909 billion in 2025, yet future success will depend on how the industry responds to a rapidly changing environment.   For Australia, this is both an opportunity and a challenge. We have the mineral resources, expertise and ambition to play a leading role in the global energy transition. What happens next will depend on how effectively industry, investors and governments work together to turn that ambition into action.   I'm particularly interested in the role productivity will play in the years ahead. While technology and AI offer enormous potential, capturing value will require more than experimentation. It will demand focus, discipline and a willingness to rethink how we operate across the entire mining value chain.   In this short video, I share some of my reflections on the report and what they could mean for Australia's mining sector. I'd be interested to hear your perspective: What do you see as the biggest barrier - and opportunity - for mining companies seeking to move from ambition to action?   Read the report here: Mine 2026: Ambition to action https://lnkd.in/gPUx5v9k   #Mine2026 #Mining #CriticalMinerals #FutureOfMining #AI #Productivity #MiningLeadership #PwCAustralia

I’m proud to share my latest report Infrastructure to 2050: The platform for accelerating Australia’s next era of growth, exploring the forces that will shape the nation's next era of growth. With AUD$6.2 trillion expected to be invested in infrastructure by 2050, the challenge is no longer just the scale of investment. It's how effectively we connect, coordinate, and deliver it. Key takeaways: ·  The infrastructure mix is shifting, with digital and defence investment accelerating. ·  Energy transition pathways continue to evolve, requiring organisations to revisit long-term planning assumptions. ·  Australia has a significant opportunity to attract digital infrastructure capital, but success will depend on creating greater speed, certainty and confidence for investors. The real opportunity lies in how we bring these investments together. Infrastructure systems are increasingly interconnected, and our ability to coordinate decisions across energy, transport, water, digital and defence will determine whether this investment delivers lasting productivity, resilience and economic growth. The next decade will be critical. Success will require stronger partnerships, more integrated decision-making, and new approaches to delivery. Those that can move with speed, certainty and coordination will be best positioned to capture the opportunity and help shape Australia’s next era of growth. Thank you to the many contributors to this report, including Michael Burns Lachy Haynes Oshara Gunadasa Bernadette Ong. Read the report and register your interest in our upcoming networking and discussion session. We'd love to continue the conversation. https://lnkd.in/gKyt__KN Jennifer Brake Eric Janson Tom Gunson Kushal Chadha Christina Sahyoun #Infrastructure #CapitalProjects #PwCAustralia
