About us
Nutromics exists to save lives through continuous molecular monitoring. Current diagnostics offer only a delayed and limited snapshot of what is happening inside the body. We are changing that with the world's first lab-on-a-patch®, a wearable device that delivers continuous, real-time molecular insights. Our platform technology uses AI-designed, DNA-based biosensors (aptamers) to track multiple critical molecular targets at once. This enables doctors to access real-time data on key markers, supporting faster decisions, more effective treatment, and better outcomes. Our first product focuses on the life-saving antibiotic vancomycin, with additional programs underway in sepsis, cardiology, and triage. Nutromics will eliminate the lag between symptom onset and diagnosis, providing doctors with immediate molecular data that helps prevent complications, reduce costs, and save lives.

We started this week with some very exciting news: we're finalists in Startup Daily's 2026 Best in Tech Awards. Stephanie Larson, Senior Operations Analyst, is a finalist for Startup Employee of the Year. As our team can attest, Stephanie is the one keeping everything moving while the rest of us have our heads down, so it is lovely to see her get recognized for her incredible work! We were glad to partner with Monash University again this year for the Monash Innovation Guarantee - Postgraduate. As partners, our team set up challenges that involved real-world problems for the students to solve. They offered their time and mentorship to work through those challenges while providing an insight into life at Nutromics. A recent independent review in ACS Sensors from a team at Vilnius University explored the question of “Why, after three decades and thousands of papers, are electrochemical DNA sensors still only in the lab?” The paper explores both the difficulties of DNA detection and the tools built along the way to enable it. The authors also mention that these tools have been critical to the emergence of aptamer-based sensing, which they identify as the most mature and commercially advanced redirection of the field. The authors identified the two companies commercializing aptamer-based sensing: one of which is Nutromics! In fact, our recent first-in-human publication in Nature Biotechnology was called out as landmark evidence that this redirection is real and material. Their closing question is a fair one: could continuous molecular monitoring earn broad clinical adoption alongside standard blood tests?
