🌾 South Australia may be the driest state in the driest inhabited continent, but it continues to produce millions of tonnes of high-quality grain every year without irrigation. At the heart of that success is the Adelaide University Waite Research Precinct, where researchers are using drones, AI, robotics and advanced imaging technologies to accelerate crop improvements for a hotter, drier climate. As one of South Australia's innovation places, The Waite is home to the largest concentration of agricultural research and teaching expertise in the Southern Hemisphere, bringing together leading research organisations to drive collaboration, innovation and real-world impact. Read the final feature from Boundless_05 to discover how innovation at The Waite is helping shape the future of agriculture. 🔗 https://bit.ly/44WtrtU #SouthAusInnovationPlaces #BoundlessMagazine #AgriTech #AgriculturalInnovation #Research #SouthAusInnovation

Great to connect with regional industry, project proponents, suppliers and businesses at #Tactic2026. 🤝 Our ICN SA, Invest SA - Resources, Fuels and Clean Technologies, and Workforce Capability teams were on the ground to support local businesses through supply chain expertise, investment attraction and workforce development. Industry Capability Network - SA’s Supplier Strategy and EOI Insights workshop provided businesses with expert insights on how to respond effectively to an EOI to maximise their chances of being invited to tender, with Invest SA showcasing South Australia’s growing resources, energy and clean technology project pipeline. Our Workforce Capability team connected with local businesses, spotlighting Upper Spencer Gulf career support services, including the Job and Skills Hub in Whyalla, Career Transition Service in Port Pirie, and available training pathways. Tactic also provided the opportunity to collaborate with regional stakeholders, industry associations and membership organisations to support the Upper Spencer Gulf - a region that's a key contributor to our state's economic prosperity. statedevelopment.sa.gov.au | Tactic - Connecting Regional Industry
