ALGA welcomes the Government's move to upsize the small-scale renewable energy scheme. Councils and local businesses can now access this subsidy for solar panel systems up to 1 megawatt in size. That means subsidies for facilities like swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, materials recovery facilities and resource recovery depots.
