Yesterday, in collaboration with British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (BMCC), we hosted 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗕𝗦, 𝗕𝗜𝗠 & 𝗔𝗜 𝗔𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, bringing together built environment professionals to discuss how connected technologies are driving smarter collaboration, greater efficiency and better project outcomes. One message resonated throughout the seminar: a connected built environment is not achieved by adopting IBS, BIM or AI independently. The real opportunity lies in integrating these technologies to strengthen collaboration, streamline project delivery and enhance value across the entire building lifecycle. A sincere thank you to our distinguished speakers and panellists for generously sharing their expertise, experiences and practical insights: Farhan Zamri Dato Dr Ts Gerald Sundaraj Pei Tsen Yeoh Voonyung Chin, Alan Muhd Khalil Shaiful Bahari Muhammad Raimi Hanif Ruslan The conversations extended well beyond technology, highlighting the importance of people, processes and leadership in driving meaningful change. From information management and BIM governance to AI readiness, lifecycle thinking and organisational capability, one point was consistently reinforced: a connected digital built environment starts with a strong foundation of structured data, effective governance and collaborative workflows. A special thank you to the BMCC Built Environment Committee, our speakers, partners and everyone who attended for making the seminar a success. Avtandil Mekudishvili Ar. Martin Haeger MBE Nicole Cheong Hor Eu K Logan Raj Kalimuthu Siew Kee Nur Shazana Abdul Jalil We hope the discussions sparked new ideas, meaningful conversations and practical actions as organisations continue to advance their digital journey. We look forward to continuing to work with our industry partners to help build a more connected, efficient and future-ready built environment. #BuiltEnvironment #DigitalBuiltEnvironment #ConstructionTech #ConTech #BIM #IBS #ArtificialIntelligence #FutureOfConstruction #BMCC
