Aaargh, I'm bored and sleepy, and it's a long, long time before I can go home and crash. So I think I'm going to dredge up this meme I'd been vaguely considering playing with for a while:

Go to your icons page in Livejournal and look at the first two icons (the one on the right and the one on the left). Pair up the characters in the two icons. Go to the next two and do the same until you have a list of ships. Then...well, write 'em.

Except I have approximately ten thousand icons, and the oldest ones haven't changed from previous pair-up-your-icons memes, so I'm going to start at the bottom and just do, I don't know, however many I get around to until I get tired of doing it.

Hoo, boy, this is gonna be some crack. Oh, and note: due to my pathetic lack of artistic skills, I don't usually make my own icons, meaning these are all by other people. All the credits can be found on my userpics page.

I seem to have sort of accidentally ended up participating in this meme, so...

Reply to this post, and I will tell you my favorite icon of yours. Then post this to your own journal using your own favorite icon.

Man, it was hard for me to pick a favorite. Should I go with the one I use most often? The prettiest? The one I'm most in love with right now? (That last would be the new Sydney I just snurched, but I'm sure that will pass whenever the obsession finally starts to wane.) Plus, almost all of my icons are by people other than me, and is it weird to play favorites among them?

But then I thought about it for a little while and decided, what the heck, it's gotta be this one. It's me! And I did make it myself, even, using the South Park Character Generator thing. (Although IIRC somebody else cleaned up the text I stuck on the t-shirt for me.)

I've done this one before, but I'm bored, and it's entertaining:

Connection troubles, lack of energy, and too many deadlines have meant very little posting from me lately, I know. But, for those who haven't actually forgotten who I am, a meme stolen from, I dunno, a bunch of people:

I've actually started thinking a bit about what the heck I'm going to do with my finish-a-thon story, and am feeling a bit more optimistic about it, but I'm still not ready or willing to sit down and start writing it, so... More procrastination!
