Electromagnetic Candy

aurora_novarum asked me if I wanted more icons to talk about, and I said "sure!" So, here are her choices:

1.

That's Stark and Zhaan from Farscape, the closest thing to an OTP I've ever had. This particular scene is so tender and sad that it still makes me a bit sniffly just to look at the icon. It's by llscorpiusll.

2.

Another Farscape icon. This one's by redstarrobot, and it's, um, a hallucination of Crichton's when he was on the really, really bad crack. The camera is pretty much shooting from directly between his legs. It's actually scarier if you can see more of what they're wearing. Or the Muppet in the Dominatrix gear who's about to replace them in a moment. Because when Farscape gets cracky, it goes all the way. "We know what you like" is, I believe, the actual canon dialog right here. I sometimes use this icon when I'm talking about how insanely cracky Farscape is, or about anything kinky.

3.

It's Evil Homer! Who can be found sitting on Homer Simpson's shoulder giving him bad advice... Or dancing on the grave of Good Homer, shaking his maracas and singing, "I am Evil Homer! I am Evil Ho-mer!" I made this one myself, by the simple expedient of stealing the image from somebody's website. It's useful for when I'm being evil. Which isn't nearly often enough, really.

4.

This is Servalan, the main villain from Blake's 7. kalypso_v made it for me to use when answering comments on the LJ feed of my blog, Maximum Verbosity (maximumverbosit). Which I should totally do more often. Canonically, what she's actually shouting there is, "Maximum power!" She's feeling pretty good, because she's just taken over Our Heroes' bas-ass spaceship after three years of trying, but she's about to get an unpleasant surprise...

5.

John Crichton sitting on the floor and obsessively scribbling out wormhole equations. Which is a thing he does. My favorite icon to use when I'm obsessively scribbling out fic. Or trying to pretend I am. This one's by ch1pper, who, as with many of my other Farscape icons, took a lame one I made and prettied it up for me.
