I haven't been posting much lately, I know. I blame intermittent connection problems, and the fact that my head's been so stuffed up lately that it's hard to think. But I can at least pop in to do a meme. So...
Look at your LJ userpics list. If you have fewer than 50 icons, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five icons, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five icons, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly why you have it, why it's interesting to you, what significance does it have.
I have 120 icons, because I don't believe in the concept of overkill. Taking every tenth one gives us... well, a lot of Stark, but I'm sure that doesn't surprise anybody. Here we go:

redstarrobot made this one for me. It's from very possibly the kinkiest, most surreal scene in Farscape, which is really saying something. And this was before the Muppet in the bondage gear showed up. Useful when writing about kinkiness, or the fact that Farscape is on crack.
This one was made for me by snowgrouse. It's Noranti, Farscape's resident lunatic drug-pusher, blowing hallucinogens into someone's face. I use it when I'm pimpin' 'Scape. Which is a thing I do.
I work for the National Radio Astronomy Observatory on the VLBA (Very Long Baseline Array) project. This is one of our radio-telescope dishes. These are cool pieces of equipment, if I do say so, myself. I don't use this icon much, but sometimes when I'm talking about space science, communications, or my job. (I think I stole the image from NRAO's website somewhere.)
That's one of my favorite of Pilot's lines, even if he only said it in Crichton's wacked-out hallucination. (There's a lot of wacked-out hallucinations on this show.) I use it for anything involving Pilot or books. The icon is by saava. I think I got it from a Farscape icon community.
This one is by llscorpiusll, who did a lot of very cool textless icons, including a bunch with Stark. This isn't one of the Stark/Zhaan icons I use very much, but I like the way she's being all protective of him. Aww.
Another one that was made for me by snowgrouse. It's Sgt. Benton, the great unsung hero of Doctor Who! I so need more excuses to use this icon.
This is one of several icons that I originally did and ch1pper then came along and rendered into something actually artistic for me. Originally this was just a picture of Stark making that I've-just-been-vomited-on-by-a-muppet face. She gussied it up considerably and added the "I need bleach" (or "bleach I need," maybe :)). Very useful when I want to express, well... that.
Another one ch1pper complety revamped for me. Stark has such a useful range of emotions that I turn to him for both "Ewww!" and "What?!"
This one has a long history. kalypso_v originally did an icon with Stark and Zhaan in that "dancing" pose with those words, and when ch1pper was revamping a bunch of my icons, she asked if she could have a crack at that one as well. kalypso_v gave permission, and this was the result. The words are from Leonard Cohen's "Dance Me to the End of Love," which is IMHO one of the best love songs ever, mainly because it's about genuinely enduring love, rather than crazy head-over-heels passion. And that particular phrase could not be more apt for Stark. That's exactly what the poor guy needs.
I did this one. You can probably tell; my artistic skills are nil. That's Apollo 11 blasting off for the moon, which is very cool, but I don't use the icon much because it's lame.
Lovely picture of the fourth Doctor and the second Romana, by calapine. I had to snurch some pics from her when I suddenly realized how sad it was that I had no icons of Romana.
kerravonsen posted a whole bunch of "plot tribble" icons recently, and I just had to steal this one. I mean, it's Cyrano Jones! How can you not love that face? This is a great icon to use when the plot tribbles are breeding, as they do. I haven't used it yet, though, mainly because I keep forgetting I have it.
Huh. Somehow, I managed to miss out all my Blake's 7 icons.
