Electromagnetic Candy

I've actually started thinking a bit about what the heck I'm going to do with my finish-a-thon story, and am feeling a bit more optimistic about it, but I'm still not ready or willing to sit down and start writing it, so... More procrastination!


1. Default



It's Astro as a girl! It's AstroGirl! Come on, how perfect is that? And how utterly cute is lil' Sikozu-Stark, anyway? I originally had a rather lamer version of this icon that I made, but kernezelda did this much nicer one for me.

2. Oldest



This is the oldest one I have uploaded that hasn't in any way been changed or spiffed up, anyway. That Vila, he's a survivor!

3. Newest

This one was just made for me by ch1pper, based on what was one of my own earliest icons:



The newest one not based on an older one is this pretty, pretty Captain Jack icon by kerravonsen:



4. Saddest

Probably this one, by skinship:

6. Angriest



Another one of ch1pper's recent improvements on one of my old icons. It didn't used to have the "grrr," so it now looks considerably angrier than it used to, which makes it a handy icon to use when I'm feeling annoyed.

7. Cutest



Well, no contest here. It's Hello Starky, by snowgrouse! How cute is that?!

8. Sexiest

I don't know tht any of my icons are especially sexy. This one, by redstarrobot is certainly the most sexual, though personally I find it kinda disturbing:



9. Most humorous

Kind of a tough call, but I'm going to have to go with this one, by entropy_house:



10. Favorite 'ship

Hmm. With the apostrophe, it'd be one of the two Stark/Zhaan ones already mentioned. Without it, it'd have to be this one:

That one's by snowgrouse.

12. Favorite animated

The same Orac one that got the "most humorous" vote. Actually, that's the only animated one I have.

13. Favorite quote



The icon is by kalypso_v, the quote is Leonard Cohen.

14. Favorite textless

The sad Stark/Zhaan one above. I really like that icon.

15. Most used other than default

I don't know. I haven't actually compiled any statistics. I use my other Astro one a lot:

Of the ones that haven't (yet) been retouched? Well, this one's far and away the prettiest, even though I hardly ever use it:

Um, you may notice that almost all of mine were made by somebody else. So that's sort of like asking me for my favorite icon, period. Which is almost impossible to answer, but if pressed, I might vote for A4F's Stark.

Sadly, I probably would. I certainly do have more icons than I have slots, which is kind of scary, really.

They proclaim to the world that I have an unhealthy obsession with that Stark guy.

Farscape, far and away, though Blake's 7 and Doctor Who make respectable showings.

26. Are your icons mostly made by other users?

Oh, yeah. At this point, of the 100, only 19 were made by me and haven't been fiddled with afterward by anyone else, and most of those 19 are high on the list of icons to go if and when I find new ones I like and want to use.

27. Do you make icons?

Occasionally.

28. Are they any good?

In general, no. My visual-artistic talent is very nearly nil, and I don't even own a copy of Photoshop, or any other decent image-manipulation program. (I've been using Microsoft's "Picture It!" software for the ones I have made. About all you can say for it is that at least it's better than Paint.)
