Living apart and at peace with myself, I came to realize more vividly the meaning of the doctrine of acceptance. To refrain from giving advice, to refrain from meddling in the affairs of others, to refrain, even though the motives be the highest, from tampering with another's way of life - so simple, yet so difficult for an active spirit. I'm a stay at home mom to two kids and one cat :)
I'm an avid reader and love watching old movies when I get the time. I'm big into cooking and writing. I like to eat out a good bit and try out the local restaurants and occasional wine bar. I'm interested in art, antiquing and traveling and try to make a habit of exploring those things at least a few times a year.
As for my journal:
At times quite random, mostly friends only. At present I don't update as often as I used to but hope to change that as things settle down.
I generally don't use filters as I tend to just write whatever is on my mind at the time however raw it might be.
You're welcome to add me to your friends list just leave me a comment and let me know you're there. Occasionally I do cuts if I feel like we don't have much in common; please don't take offense to this.
