This is the new home of the shared-storytelling comm sg1_fic_trees, now open to fic in all Gateverse fandoms. Someone starts a fic in an entry. Anyone who's inspired can continue it in comments. To capitalize on Dreamwidth's awesomely useful tracking and display options for comments, this comm works differently from the old one: All narrative additions post as comments to the main entry, and only meta (feedback and chat) posts as dependent comments. When fics branch, they'll be compiled into new entries, to be continued in a new set of top-level comments. This should make everything much easier to read and track!

Membership is open, though you don't need to join to post or comment. The order of display on the Recent Entries page and in the Active Entries module is a little wonky after all the importing and updating. The module will sort itself out as there's new activity. The weird entry order is puzzling, but Archive View works correctly if you want to scan the comm's history chronologically.

Note to people who played at the LJ comm: Since you can now claim your OpenID, you can take control here of the comments you posted to the comm when it was at LJ. With the exception of two people who were uncontactable, the mod got permission from all the old comm's members/commenters to port their fic contributions to Dreamwidth, but this enables direct control of your content, yay, and also lets you attribute your LJ comments to your DWth account if you'd like.
