She woke up, and that was the first sign that something was wrong.
Sometimes you come across something that hits a lot deeper than perhaps the author ever intended. It resonates deep within your soul, your mind, and memories, because of your own experiences, or perhaps a loved one's. This was one of those moments for me, bringing me back to my Great Aunt Georgia's go-to saying, "There's always a problem. That's how you know you're living." This one hits home, and it may very well hit home especially for those, also like myself, who have tried and failed to end our misery in this world.
