I've seen better days
Jun. 21st, 2013 08:15 pmNew and helpful tech was always sorted out come arrival back in Abel, but today Jody was keen on smuggling. Having nicked it off a very dead zom, she'd made certain to slip it into her sports bra before stepping back under the gate. Her running didn't stop once she'd handed over her full backpack, face aflush with something bright and excited as she trotted round to find Simon.
Of course she found him flirting with Janine-- his Jenny as he called her, but she was quick to grab his wrist and pull him away. With a promise of some well-overdue work needing to be done and a petite girl who couldn't carry the boxes all by herself. Possible that Janine was thankful, but there were days she could never much tell.
Instead, once they were in a sufficiently isolated area, she dragged him behind the pharmacy, reaching into her shirt to produce a working iPod, charger still attached.
"Find me a slot so I can charge it tonight, see what's on it?"

Veggies next, and finally she finished off with the spam, pulling a face at the salty flavour. Water washed it all down and she settled against him, iPod between them and one leg hooked over his. "Was hoping tthey'd have music you like on here, but they're a bit boorish." So in mollification for dragging him toward something that was somewhat disappointing, she kissed the side of his mouth. She knew Archie dying had struck him harder than he'd admit, she wanted to help him move past that... In non-life threatening ways.

He chuckles at her admission and glances down at her, giving him a wink. "I'm not hard to please, you know that. Music is music."
He was still trying not to think about Things anyway.
